Bensa, Ethiopia

Serving remote villages in southern Ethiopia

In the southern region of Ethiopia, Lifewater is walking alongside very vulnerable communities living in the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ Region (SNNPR), home to over 18 million people. This region of Ethiopia has the greatest number of ethnic and language groups in country. It is also home to some of the highest water scarcity and water-borne disease rates in the world.
