background

In July 2009, Project Restoring Hope began, a three-year program aimed at increasing access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in war-torn northern Uganda. The goal of the program was to serve 192 communities, nearly 100,000 people, with WASH and the knowledge of Christ’s love. This report details the impact, including the one-year evaluation.

"Women have taken leadership in the water committees and are being listened to by the men. This we never thought could happen.”
