WASH Club Guidebook: Children can be changemakers in their schools, homes, and communities. This student-centered WASH Club Guidebook will help children actively participate in their own learning, and lessons will be made richer by their participation. If healthy hygiene and sanitation habits are formed as children, entire societies can be changed in a generation. Throughout the curriculum, students will learn they are changemakers who can make a difference in the lives of others. This curriculum is designed to provide lesson content, discussion questions, and fun activities that teach children how to be changemakers for improved health in their own lives and the lives of those around them.
Topics include: the need for safe water, identifying safe and unsafe water sources, stopping the spread of disease, practicing good hygiene, and the importance of keeping schools grounds sanitary.
