Lifewater International Welcomes Church Mobilizer

San Luis Obispo, Ca – 2/1/2015 – Lifewater International 501 (c) 3, a Christian water development organization dedicated to effectively serving vulnerable children and families with safe water, sanitation, and hygiene since 1977, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bobby deLancellotti as the organization’s new Church Mobilizer.

As Church Mobilizer, Bobby is responsible for engaging churches in the biblical call to seek justice by speaking to congregations across North America, increasing their awareness of the global water and sanitation crisis, and equipping the church and community to be an important part of the solution.

“We are excited to have Bobby in this new role as we work to increase our impact across the world. To do this, we must further our relationships with the local church in the United States,” said Justin Narducci, Lifewater’s CEO/President. “‘The local church is the hope of the world,’ and we are committed to activating it to make a positive difference and grow our time-tested program. Bobby is a key component to realize our vision of a movement of transformed people, serving together, to end the global water and sanitation crisis. Bobby’s knowledge of Lifewater, his ministry experience, and his passion for justice is the perfect fit to make this happen.”

Since 1977, Lifewater International’s program has:

  • Worked with individuals to improve lives in over 40 countries
  • Helped over 2.5 million people realize safe water, sanitation and hygiene – often for the first time
  • Trained over 400,000 community members to better equip themselves against unsanitary water

In 2014, alone, Lifewater International:

  • Provided 43,000 people with safe water
  • Helped 88,000 people realize new forms of sanitation solutions
  • Helped over 89,000 people achieve new levels of hygiene that were previously unknown
  • Trained over 30,000 local leaders on the benefits of clean and hygienic water

“As Church Mobilizer I am truly excited to have the opportunity to work with hundreds of thousands of dedicated individuals and their churches in a way that empowers them and changes the world with every new drop of clean water provided to those in need,” said Bobby. “I’m very passionate and energized by Lifewater’s ministry and their successful model for addressing it as it has true lasting impact on vulnerable children and families. I am humbled by this opportunity to grow these relationships and spread Lifewater’s message across the United States.”

Prior to joining Lifewater International, Bobby served as Outreach Pastor at Mountainbrook Community Church in San Luis Obispo, Ca, where he spearheaded efforts to help people engage in the work of justice and mercy around the world. Bobby has been in full-time ministry for over 30 years, including planting a church in California.
